The book provides a selection of International Criminal Law documents, their organisation within broad subject headings and introductions to each document. This is a reader friendly book which uses generally recognised broad categories, e.g. war crimes, crimes against humanity, terrorism, international tribunals, hybrid tribunals, extradition and mutual assistance. The authors have identified 72 important documents and have extracted the provisions that relate to international criminal law, excluding those provisions that do not relate to ICL and the final provisions. Introductions to each document will include official citations, the parties (particularly indicating whether the US and UK are parties), the genesis of the instrument and an outline of its legislative history, an indication of the major provisions of the instrument and links to other related instruments.
