Charles has also served his country faithfully as a US Marine. In 1996, he and his daughter Cheryl formed Pathway Financial Services, Inc., an independent planning and asset management firm. He was formerly registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as a licensed broker and investment advisor and served as an independent affiliate of Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. He has been married to his wife, Evon, for fifty-three years. They have three daughters-Charlene, Carmen, and Cheryl, and six grandchildren-Rachel, Emily, Wesley, Jade, Jewel, and Sydne.
