THE AUTHOR
John Stokes is a respected Ford historian and author of the critically acclaimed Ford in New Zealand – Putting the Car Before the Horse (2017). He has spent the last seventeen years researching, interviewing and compiling the ultimate history of Ford In New Zealand (Ford in New Zealand, Volume I (2017) and Volume II (2020)).
He has been involved in the travel industry for many years and is a member of the Model T Ford Club of NZ and the Wellington branch of the NZ Vintage Car Club.
