The Grimm brothers' widely-known collection of frairy tales, classic and influential collection of folklore by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, from the land of fantastical castles, vast lakes and deep forests, the Brothers Grimm collected a treasury of enchanting folk and fairy stories full of giants and dwarfs, witches and princesses, magical beasts and cunning children. The Grimms thought that culture at the level of the common people exists in its purest form and is the least influenced by foreign traditions.
