Leander Salamander lived among the rocks that surrounded a small pond. He had made a cozy home of grass and mud under the rocks and had a pleasant life. He thought that something was missing in his life, but he didn't know what it was. He had good friends, Sammy Snake and Myrtle Turtle, so he was never lonely.
