In 1990 Keizo Funatsu was part of a team that used dog sleds to explore one of the coldest places on Earth - Antarctica. The team had stopped to set up camp for the night when Keizo left his tent to feed the dogs. Suddenly swirling snow and wind began to pound Keizo's face.
