This volume will introduce readers to a body of work that pays particular attention to the choice and combination of different materials. As he transforms these materials into finished pieces, Baselgia merges technical skill with references to architecture, art history, and classical music. In doing so, he creates sculptures that use both form and substance to evoke the individual's relationship to the environment.
