Each evening, instead of a story, Aldin would draw a picture on the walls of the room until the drawings encircled the room, in the form of a chase with farmyard animals to add to the interest. They became the inspiration for a series of books and from these drawings, full of zest and humour, the illustrations for this book have been selected.
