Pleasant married a wonderful man she met in high school, and together they have three children and two grandchildren. She graduated from high school, but lacked giving the mechanics for writing. She bought books and taught herself by trial and error. She didn t start writing until she realized she was the last one in her family who still had memories of those who had already passed away. Their stories would be lost forever if someone didn t capture them for the future. Saving the past began her writing career.
