The Immeasurable Want of Light(IWL) is a play, illustrated by famed historian and painter, Nell Painter.IWLfollows Maker, a black, overweight artist, as she comes of age in an alternate universe. This is an epic play consisting of twenty-eight distinct micro plays of varying language styles and forms that journeys through shifting perspectives of living in Black skin.
