Why did I write this book? To empower the reader to more easily answer their questions. Asking Google does not always work or work safely. As a librarian for forty years, I have served customers at local libraries, college learning resource centers, and corporate information centers. This book presents a new approach, one I have distilled over many years, coming from efforts as in three spheres: librarian, researcher, and teacher. And followed the recent research in cognitive science, decision-making theory, learning, and information seeking. They confirm, in theory, much of what I have experienced in reality.
