Edouard Carmignac, an asset manager, has been collecting contemporary art for more than 25 years. Housed in the management company's premises on Place Vendome in Paris and in its international subsidiaries, the Carmignac collection currently boasts nearly 200 paintings, photographs and sculptures from the 20th and 21st centuries. This book is realised on the occasion of the opening of the Foundation on the island of Porquerolles, Provence, realised by architect Marc Barani and by landscape architect Louis Beneche. The Collection also includes the work by Asian artists Dinh Q. Le, Lean Seckon and Li Tian-Bing, the Iranian artist Shirin Neshat or the Lebanese artist Ayman Baalbaki.
