When Harriet Met Sojouner follows the parallel life stories of two pivotal figures in American History, Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth. Both began life as slaves, both worked to free people from the bonds of slavery, and both became champions of civil rights for all. Despite their overlapping work, they only met once and there is no record of their conversation.
