This book "Yeh tang Zameen (This narrow land)" collects a selection of short stories from contemporary woman Urdu fiction writer Tarannum Riyaz. Tarannum Riyaz's voice is considered very loud in feminist Urdu literature. Where Kashmiri society is best reflected in her stories, a strong undercurrent of protest characterizes her style also.
